Hyperliquid is the largest perpetuals exchange tracked across any chain; Bulk Exchange is a newer, invite-gated Solana perps DEX still building out its order book. There’s no serious liquidity argument here — this comparison is really about two different things you might want from a perps platform: the deepest, most proven book, or genuine ground-floor timing on a pre-token platform.
Scale: not a contest
Hyperliquid’s daily volume and open interest are an order of magnitude (or more) beyond Bulk’s current book. If execution quality on real size is what you need today, this isn’t close.
Where Bulk actually competes: timing
Hyperliquid’s HYPE token is live and its genesis points distribution is already finished — the platform itself is no longer a farming opportunity in the way a pre-token venue is. Bulk, by contrast, has no token, a live AURA points program tied directly to its September 2026 mainnet launch, and a Genesis-phase 0% maker fee window that’s explicitly temporary. If your interest is specifically in being early to a platform before any token event, Bulk is structurally in that window right now and Hyperliquid isn’t.
Access and risk shape
Hyperliquid is fully permissionless — connect a wallet and trade. Bulk’s mainnet is invite-gated, with additional access codes reportedly minted as your own trading volume grows. Hyperliquid’s risk is a young dedicated-L1’s validator set and bridge security at a very large scale; Bulk’s risk is a thin, newly-launched order book and a points program with no established track record yet.
Which one to actually use
- Choose Hyperliquid if you want to trade real size on the deepest book available, and you’re not looking for a pre-token farming opportunity.
- Choose Bulk if you specifically want ground-floor timing on a no-token Solana perps venue and can get an access code.
- These aren’t substitutes for each other. Many traders reasonably use both for different reasons — Hyperliquid to actually trade, Bulk to farm early.
